North East Community Energy is seeking a consultant to assist with project costing work related to community energy generation projects across the North East. The invitation to tender opens today and the deadline for responses is 25th June 2015.

North East Community Energy have a raft of pipeline low carbon energy generation projects. To progress these projects further and to assist in the support and capital funding application process, NE Community Energy would like to refine the development and capital cost estimations that have been made to date.
The low carbon technologies involved are Wind, Solar PV, Passive Solar, River Hydro, Marine Hydro, AD (various scale), Heat Pumps (GSHP, ASHP, WSHP), Heat from Mine workings, Geothermal Heat as well as any pertinent experimental technologies.
NE Community Energy are therefore seeking to commission an expert/consultant within the field to provide an as accurate prediction as possible of the costs involved with the specified projects.
